My favorite time of the year is our annual trip up North with my family. It's so nice to escape work and life for a week and just relax. Once we're there we rarely leave the cabin and just spend time playing with the girls, lounging, tubing (for those of us that aren't pregnant) and fishing. This past Black Friday we invested in some kayaks. After seeing our neighbors up North with them last year, Dan decided we should have some as well. So we bought them out in La Crosse and stored them at my parents house until we got some racks to bring them back home. Just in time for our trip up North, we traded in our vehicle for the biggest version we could find and brought the kayaks home. While we discussed the possibility and convenience of a mini-van, with baby #3 on the way, my packing habits, and Dan's trips up North hauling snowmobiles, this was the way to go for us.

| Just because we have the extra space, doesn't mean we should bring more stuff along to fill it up...or does it?? |
| At least they can see each other this year...and nothing fell onto their heads from behind them so that was a bonus |
| They didn't waste any time. We arrived and they changed into swim suits and got busy playing in the water and sand. |
| We put Papa's boat in and the girls drove it back. |
| First tub riders- Gamma, Reagan, and Rylie |
| Bonfire on the first night- but the mosquitoes were so bad I literally danced around trying to make a s'more and then ran in the house. For some reason they love Rylie and me and Reagan and Dan hardly get touched. |
| Happy Hour with Papa |
| A little play-doh action |
| Lunch out on the deck |
| This girls is finally expanding her appetite a little- but only for the strangest things. I can't get her to eat a piece of lunch meat or cheese, but a bacon wrapped shrimp...sure she'll try that. |

| So this year we stayed at the cabin next door to where we usually stay. It's owned by the same people. The cabin we normally stay in is a big A frame and much newer with knotty pine all throughout the interior. This cabin is like walking into the 1970's but it has the best access to the lake and a huge yard so it was well worth the switch. |

| Paddle boat ride with Gamma |
| Aaaand this was the extent of me getting into the lake this year. No tubing, skiing, or much of anything for this mama. |
The many faces of Reagan:
| I probably bribed her with some sort of treat for this smile. |
| Rylie caught a blue gill all on her own! |
| Just missing Patrick this year :( |
| Reagan wasn't feeling the family pictures |
| Such silly girls... |
Until next year...
