The Month of August in Pictures

The month of August kept us just as busy as the rest of the Summer had.  I think we had about one free weekend a month, if that, this past Summer, which we seemed to spend cleaning and catching up on laundry. And all of the other weekends we packed in as many activities as possible. So again the best form of an update for this month is in pictures...

Our date night at the Waterfront in La Crosse

Rylie's first time mini golfing!

The Cabin 2013

This is one week out of the year that I so look forward to.  It's the only time in the year where I take a full week off work and I even extended it a little this year, taking the Thurs. and Fri. before off as well.  So I was able to take the girls to Michael's baseball game at Helfaer Field at Miller Park.  We went swimming at Uncle T and Aunt ShaShe's and went to the zoo too!  And then on Saturday morning, we escaped to the Northwoods.  It's right after one of my busiest times of year at work as well as the craziness of 4th of July and Rylie's birthday. We didn't have the best weather this year...a couple of days in the 60's and it was in the 50's the day we left, but we did have some days in the 70's and 80's too and not really any rain.  My brother was able to come this year so we "kids" went to the bar one night.  We had bonfires, boat rides, tube rides, water skied, took naps, went paddle boating, fishing, swimming, and did lots of eating and drinking!
Cheering on Michael!

Posing at the zoo

Black Beauty- as Rylie calls Gamma's Pilot- and Papa's boat

And then there's our car- we were barely able to fit our kids...
ready for a upgrade...surely it can't be my packing :)

They couldn't see each other,
but they did hold hands a few times, which was cute.

There's never a shortage

Rylie caught a little perch

65 degrees didn't stop my mom from skiing

We bought a new pool...and then used it as a play pen

One of Reagan's hiding spots...she kept disappearing and would be found waiting by this ladder
or in the corner of my parent's room until someone would come and find her
