One Year Old!

My little Reagaboo turned ONE and I can hardly believe it.  This past month she has continued to sleep pretty well, but still doesn't GO to sleep well...she still fights it like crazy. She still eats 3rd foods, lots of puffs and yogurt melts.  She loves crackers of any kind but doesn't really have any interest in any other real foods.  We started transitioning to a sippy cup and whole milk, but are waiting to do the full transition after we return from our trip to TX. She walks all over the place and gets into everything...and I mean EVERYTHING...so many things that Rylie never touched. She really enjoys finding little pieces of anything- paper, toys, leaves, and shoves them right into her mouth.  I have minor heart attacks a couple of times a week with this one. She loves to snuggle with her blanky.  She likes to push anything she can- chairs, laundry baskets, tables, strollers...anything that will move for her.  She LOVES taking baths and being in the water. She has a little hiding spot under the stools at the breakfast bar...that's been fun at times. She likes to play peek.  She loves bedtime with Rylie and snuggles in her bed with us to read stories.  She shows us her pointer finger when we ask her if she's one.  She also takes that pointer finger shaking it back and forth when we say "no, no, no."  She makes that same gesture before she does something she knows she's not supposed to (i.e. pulling Rylie's pony tail). As for words, she says mama but that's about it...just a lot of gibberish.  She hates being stuck in her pack and play.  She had a great one year check up and is proving to be a little peanut like her sister: 19.4 lbs and 19.25 inches long.

The last of the monthly blanket background pics...sniffle sniffle.

Spring

This year by far has been the busiest Spring we've had yet...followed by the busiest Summer we've ever had.  In large part because there are TWO little ones keeping us moving all the time!  Rylie started gymnastics again this Spring, which she still loves.  So we just keep signing her up session after session.  We continued on with swimming lessons at the Y as well. We'll sign them both up for the Summer session.  In April,  Dan's great Aunt Ruth, who we call GGR (Great Grandma Ruth) turned 90!  We went to a brunch with the Wille side of the family to celebrate.  Dan and I were able to attend the Flavors dinner to benefit the ALF in April as well.  We've been able to attend several years in a row with Dan's parents and Chris & Leslie and always have a great time!  We even had a nice day or two in April and got outside to take some new pictures.  However, there were far more cold days as you can see by the hat and mittens worn while blowing bubbles!!

May brought daddy's alumni soccer game...the first we have been able to go and watch.  He loved having his girls there watching him and it was great to meet his coach and some of his soccer buddies from college days.

Happy 90th GGR

Staying busy at the restaurant

Date night at the Flavors of Wisconsin dinner-
the first time we've had a non-family babysitter too!

Mother's Day...I was spoiled this year.  My hubs brought me coffee and a soufflĂ© from Panera.  The girls made me cards and a bird feeder at Auntie Beth's house...they were awesome...so thoughtful.  And Daddy and the girls spoiled me with some crazy Mother's Day/Birthday gifts! We went to the park...it wasn't the nicest day, but I had to do something with my girls.  And then over to Carpenter's for dinner made by the guys. I feel so so blessed on this day and every day to be a Mom and am so thankful for my girls...I love them to pieces!
