Big News in April

Our big news to share in the month of April is that we're expecting Baby Wille #3!!!  Also known as our "third and final".  Rylie was VERY excited.  Reagan was excited for a couple of minutes.  She does know that there is a baby in mommy's tummy and every once in a while she says there's a baby in her tummy too.  I think she's in for a rude awakening once it's actually here.  Rylie likes to give the baby hugs and sing to my tummy.  She likes to talk into the "microphone" aka my belly button.  Reagan had moved into the bottom bunk in Rylie's room and Rylie moved up to the top a couple of months before we found out, so the twin bed came down and the crib went back up in Reagan's old room.  I think that part will be an adjustment for her. I think she feels like she doesn't have a space of her own because she moved into Rylie's room and the baby will be taking her room.  So we have some work to do to make Rylie's room feel more like her space too.  And a few years down the road, a decision will need to be made- an addition to this house or move on to something bigger. It will be a tough one as we love our neighborhood.

9 week ultrasound
9 weeks and showing already with #3
Another session of gymnastics- both girls love it!

Aaaaand here is the bathroom...into it's 2nd month looking like this...
We decided to do a one-night getaway for Spring Break.  It was a very last minute decision and by getaway, we mean the Country Springs hotel in Pewaukee.  Rylie had a week off from school and Dan and I didn't take any time off this year so we decided with my office closed on Good Friday we'd go swim for the day and stay overnight and swim on Saturday too. It was perfect.  I had checked the hotels in the Dells and there were no rooms available, plus they cost more, and it was a farther drive.  The fact that we were 20 min. from home and didn't have a long drive the next day was kind of nice.  These girls don't require a whole lot from a water park yet, so it worked out well.

This is how Reagan decided to dress that morning

Typical Reagan- blocking Rylie's turn at bowling

Cutest little ice cream truck drivers

Rylie reading stories to her sis

So the girls and I came home from work to some weird sounds up in the ceiling right when we walked in.  So not only did Daddy think it was a good idea to do electrical work in the attic with no one else home, I looked down the hall at his genius idea of how to get up there.

Reagan's new favorite pose.  Unlike her sister, she's VERY opinionated on what she wears, which is awesome for school/work mornings.

Hedbanz with Auntie Elaine!

We all LOVE when she visits so much that each of us require a picture with her :)

Cannot believe how long this hair has gotten.  Time for her first trim...I'm just so afraid she'll lose the curl :(

My yard crew tilling up the garden- just the start of the work they put into my yard.

A short time after they finished tilling, it started snowing.

Another session in the books!  Reagan's moving on to the 3 year old class!

Easter

This year we spent Easter morning and spent the afternoon at Grr and Grr Mom's.  My parents were in Arizona for Easter and Carpenters were in Florida.  The girls woke up early to hunt for their baskets and check out their goodies from the bunny.  They found new Frozen nightgowns, a few little legos, books, band aids, underwear, and some candy treats too. We had a little time to play before getting ready for church.  And then headed over to Grr and Grr Mom's where they colored more eggs, and made Easter basket cupcakes, and went on a hunt for some eggs.

March Madness

As shown in the pictures below...

I walked in the room to Rylie balancing a broom on the couch and some
pillows and was going to hold Reagan's hand while she walked across...yeah, that didn't happen.

Our new tile with grout in the half bath.  Dan has since changed his mind about the drywall and ripped it all out.  Two months later...we have this new tile floor...and still no drywall.  It's how projects get done around here...veeeeery slowly.

Reags and her bacon...bff's
My flexible little lady.  She loves gymnastics and does a great bridge, somersault,
is so close to a cartwheel and a hand stand.
Reagan all ready with a flower for Rylie after her pom performance.

Rylie had her end of the session pom performance, but in the Spring all grade levels perform,
so she performed in front of A LOT of people.

Big girl :)
Happy St. Paddy's Day!
For whatever reason, this just cracked me up.  Reagan in her sweats standing here watching TV...
ignore the mess that covers the entire room.
Papa came to visit the weekend before they left for their 3 week AZ trip...unfortunately Gamma was sick and couldn't make it.  Papa's birthday was the following weekend so we had a tiny celebration for him.
Rylie and her little buddy Quinn...she loves holding babies.
This has been the scene in our house every couple of weeks for the past three months.
Rylie ended up getting sick at school, but thankfully it was a quick little big

The weekend before Easter we took the girls to my work Easter party at West Bend.  The girls got to fish for Easter eggs, color pictures, make a carrot, and decorate a cookie.  They had a great time and it was first time they've met the Easter Bunny. Reagan was a little apprehensive, but she warmed up quickly.

And a week after Rylie, it was Reagan's turn with a stomach bug AGAIN

Cute little gymnast

Crazy hair day for school!
She requests her Lego bin so she can dump them out and sit in it to watch TV
