Basement...some progress...finally

I can see a very faint light at the end of the tunnel.  While we had planned on having the basement project pretty much done by the time the baby arrived (ha!), it's very clear this isn't going to happen.  Now that I am 35 weeks (yikes!) I am now trying to focus on getting the baby's room ready and the first level of the house completely clean with all areas usable. Which means we only have to get enough done down in the basement to be able to get all of our storage items out of the dining room and back downstairs  Then a door will go up to keep the dust down there as well and we will spend a weekend scrubbing the entire first floor.  We just might be able to make this happen.  A good start to this goal: having drywall installed!!  And since these pictures were taken we now have tape and mud and all of the scraps are out as well. We should have texture by the weekend.   Here are some before and afters...

Just a reminder that my dining room still looks like this...and has since October

Before:

We are switching things up a little.  This used to be a closet under our steps,
but we are now going to mount the TV in this area.

The bathroom

After:

Rylie calls this "her hideout"
