Mother's Day 2012

There wasn't a whole lot of relaxation this Mother's Day weekend. With the birth of baby #2 not too far off, we spent the weekend trying to squeeze in a few projects.  We had the basement textured and primed on the Friday before Mother's Day.  My parents came to town for the weekend and tackled a whole bunch of yard work including getting our garden planted.  We ran out and got all of the plants Friday evening and they planted everything on Saturday.  On Sunday, we squeezed in a little fun time at the park and on Sunday evening Dan's parents came over to help us move our buffet back into the kitchen, hang some shelves, move our new buffet (purchased on Craig's list) into the dining room, and re-fill it with our good dishes. We need as many storage options as possible in this kitchen!

First bonfire of the year- and 2nd annual burning of our Christmas tree

Rylie had Papa keep moving back until they were almost at the fence

We are lucky to live near an awesome park and playground. They have a baseball field, jungle gym, swings and a splash park.

One more item to checked off the kitchen list
Yet to do: hang pendant lights and get new window trim/window treatments

37 weeks...little did I know I would meet this little lady 2 days later!
